Coding
Learning to code has been on my list of things to do for a while, and while I've dabbled here and there, I decided that this would be the year I get it done. Or get a really good start. I'm currently learning JavaScript through a combination of online courses, videos and books. Once I've got the hang of that, I plan on moving onto other languages as well, though I'm not sure what the next will be (open to suggestions to help me narrow it down).
Reading
I'm an avid ready. My favorite genres would have to be science fiction and history. I tend to switch back and forth between the two. And like to toss in other books along the way, from current events to classics. Here are some of my faves:

Sports
I've always been a lover of sports. Soccer is probably my favorite. My first love, and it will probably always be. I love to play whenever I get the chance. I'm part of a local league that plays frequently, and love a good game of pick-up with friends during the summer.
I also played Ultimate Frisbee for several years. I got into it in college, and eventually joined the BYU team. After graduating, I played a while on the Killjoys, a club team. We did some traveling (each year to Vegas for example). With work and family, it did become a bit too much for me to balance, so I had to give it up. But still love it. |
