Family is not an important thing. It's everything.

The Beginnings

Picture
In 2006, I met the most beautiful girl I have seen. I was fortunate enough that we had a work shift together every Wednesday night.

About two years later, we tied the knot, and I count myself as the luckiest guy there is. Not only is she a gorgeous redhead (from Texan no less), but she is an amazing wife and mother. And cook. And endlessly talented.

The First Addition

The first addition was our Golden Retriever, Sammy. We had wanted a dog for a long time, especially since Kelli had grown up with them. So as soon as we had the opportunity, we added this cute little guy to the family.

He has grown into a great dog. He loves people more than anything and just wants your affection. Always.

Life Changed Dramatically

Life changed dramatically when we found out we were expecting. I don't think we could have been more excited.

McCoy is probably one of the cheeriest little kids you'll ever meet. He's the crack-up of the household, making everyone laugh.

He loves Star Trek (he can sing the song and recite the opening from Next Generation), Home Depot (he always asks if we can go to Home Depot and tells us it's "more saving, more doing"), and rockets.

Then Things Got Really Crazy

We were overjoyed to find out we were having a baby girl. And this little one hasn't disappointed. She's far more serious than her older brother. But thankfully he knows how to get her to smile ear-to-ear and laugh a lot.

She's a vocal little girl, always speaking up (sometimes it's more like a shout), but she's making sure she's not left out ever.
